PACO First Aid was established in November 2008 and has since been delivering accredited First Aid and First Aid for Mental Health Training to a broad spectrum of sectors including education, early years, hospitality, medical, industrial, sport, leisure and fitness and many more. We also work with charities, community groups, families and baby groups.

The business is well established in the local and surrounding area and has a fantastic reputation for its professional and focused delivery, while ensuring a fun learning environment.

PACO First Aid is a Qualsafe Approved Centre, which is an Ofqual regulated awarding organisation, established by experts in the first aid and safety training industry.

Paula Colman, the owner, has a wealth of experience in training delivery and has devised and delivered training strategies to various organisations such as the Football Association and Barcelo Hotels. She graduated from Liverpool John Moores University with an Honours Degree BSc Sports Science and has over 5 years management experience in hotel and leisure club operations. Paula moved from operations to training in 2003 where she worked as National Training and Development Consultant, throughout the UK, providing training across the Sport, Fitness, Leisure and Recreation industry sectors. This involved coaching, training, mentoring and assessing all types of job roles from cleaners to Regional Managers, to National and Regional Sports Development Officers.

Paula’s qualifications extend from occupational specific qualifications including the First Aid at Work Certificate to the explicit teacher training qualifications, such as the Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning sector, First Aid Trainer – Assessor qualification, Supervising First Aid for Mental Health Trainer-Assessor qualification and the A1 assessor qualification. Continual Professional Development is a must in this ever changing industry. Paula ensures compliance and keeps on top of all recommended updates and changes so that this can be passed on to the customer at the earliest possibility. This ensures all training delivered by PACO First Aid is up to date, significant and relevant.

All of this experience and knowledge has been channelled into PACO First Aid, ensuring an exceptional and professional level of service and delivery which aims to exceed customer expectation.

PACO First Aid is a registered centre with Qualsafe and also provides FAA approved instructors through NUCO Training.
