PACO First Aid was established in November 2008 and has since been delivering accredited First Aid Training to local companies, schools, nurseries, hotel chains, healthcare professionals and sports clubs, as well as awareness courses to Families, Baby Groups and Children’s Centres.

PACO First Aid is a Qualsafe Awards Approved Centre, which is an Ofqual regulated awarding organisation, established by experts in the first aid and safety training industry. We are also an official training organisation for “Millie’s Trust” and deliver courses on their behalf in the Yorkshire region.

Having already put thousands of people through training, the business is growing from strength to strength and is gaining a strong reputation in the area for its professional and focussed delivery, while ensuring a fun learning environment.

Paula Colman, the owner, has a wealth of experience in training delivery and has devised and delivered training strategies to various organisations such as the Football Association and Barcelo Hotels. She graduated from Liverpool John Moores University with an Honours Degree BSc Sports Science and has over 5 years management experience in hotel and leisure club operations. Paula moved from operations to training in 2003 where she worked as National Training and Development Consultant, throughout the UK, providing training across the Sport and Recreation industry sector. This involved coaching, training, mentoring and assessing all types of job roles from cleaners to Regional Managers, to National and Regional Sports Development Officers.

Paula’s qualifications extend from occupational specific qualifications including the First Aid at Work Certificate to the explicit teacher training qualifications, such as the Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning sector, First Aid Trainer – Assessor qualification and the A1 assessor qualification. Paula is also an Member of the Institute for Learning and The Association of First Aiders.

Paula’s experience and knowledge has now been put into PACO First Aid, ensuring an exceptional and professional level of service and delivery, as well as setting a high bench mark for customer expectation.
